Proverbs 6:16-19 (New International Reader's Version)
16 There are six things the Lord hates.
In fact, he hates seven things.
17 The Lord hates proud eyes,
a lying tongue,
and hands that kill those who aren't guilty.
18 He also hates hearts that make evil plans,
feet that are quick to do evil,
19 any witness who pours out lies,
and anyone who stirs up family fights.
In the Book of Proverbs, it is stated that the Lord specifically regards:
things the Lord hateth, and the seventh His soul detesteth." namely:
A proud look
A lying tongue
Hands that shed innocent blood
A heart that devises wicked plots
Feet that are swift to run into mischief
A deceitful witness that uttereth lies
Him that soweth discord among brethren
Even though there are seven, this list is considerably different from the
traditional one, with only pride clearly being in both lists.
The Bible has lists of deadly sins
The Epistle to the Galatians has another list of bad sins. These includes more of the traditional seven sins, although the
list is substantially longer: adultery, fornication, uncleanness,
lasciviousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatred, variance, emulations, wrath, strife,
seditions, heresies, envyings, murders, drunkenness, revellings, "and such
Galatians 5:19-21 (New King James Version)
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness,
20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies,
21 envy, murders, drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Proverbs 6:16-19 (New King James Version)
16 These six things the LORD hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to Him:
17 A proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.
Gluttony (Gula) is an excess and was considered the worst of the seven by our forefathers because people end up doing the other sins after starting with this one. This can be an excess in food, clothing, shelter and transportation in excess of your true needs.
Pride (Superbia) ties with gluttony for being considered the worst of the seven. It is the thought that you are better than others.
Lust (Luxuria) is a driving force to do things that are harmful to you and with the consequences that you come out with a net harm from doing it. It includes much more than wanting to force your affections on someone.
Wrath (Ira) Hate is irrational anger, usually with the desire to do harm to someone or group. One example is the reaction some people get when their false fronts are exposed or their committing the seven deadly sins are brought to their attention.
Covetousness (Avaritia) is wanting something just because someone else has one. Most advertising is based on exploiting this sin.
Envy (Invidia) is disliking someone because of some aspect of them or their possessions. What makes it different from covetousness is the desire to deny the other person the object of envy.
Sloth (Acedi) is taking more from society than you give back.
